Blackjack is one of the most popular games in the casino world. Not only is it an easy game to learn; Blackjack is also one of the most fast-paced and entertaining games to play! The concept is simple: the player competes against the dealer, both trying to get the highest hand before going over 21. In this game, the other players at the table are of no concern to you. It is just each player against the dealer.

In Blackjack, the card values are as follows:
– 2 through 9 count as face value
– 10, Jack, King and Queen count as 10s
– Ace can count as either a 1 or an 11
To begin, the player is dealt two cards, face up, while the dealer obtains cards facing down. Based on the players cards, they must then decide on their next move. If the player hits, then they take another card. If they stand, then they simply keep the two cards they were originally dealt. If a player does not want to continue playing, then they fold, thereby withdrawing from the game and losing their bet. If the two cards are high, then they can split them in order to create two new hands by placing an additional bet.
Once the player has made their decision, the dealer must turn their cards over. According to the rules, they must stand if the hand equals 17 or higher. Otherwise, they must hit on a hand that equals 16 or less. The dealer must continue to hit until they reach 17 or bust by going over 21.
If the player gets 21 with their first two cards, then it is called a Blackjack, and the player wins 1.5 times their original bet. If a player has to hit or split to get 21, then the player earns a much lower payout. If both the dealer and the player get Blackjack, then it is a tie, and the player gets the money they wagered back.
