Co-Founder Leaves Zynga

Another one bites the dust at Zynga. For the past few months, several executives for the social gaming site have left for greener pastures, and now co-founder Justin Waldron has decided to take his leave as well.

“I am grateful to have had the chance to help build a company that touched so many people,” reads a statement from Waldron. “Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it

Waldron joined Zynga six years ago when the social gaming company was just an idea in founder Mark Pincus’ head. He was approached by Pincus for help with the development of an online poker game with unique social gaming elements. The result of their teamwork was Zynga Poker, one of the company’s best-selling titles.

This week, Waldron announced that he would be leaving Zynga to pursue his personal business interests. He has not yet announced what his future pursuits are, but we anticipate that he will either continue in the social gaming market or work on his investment portfolio, which include Delectable, Instant Cab and Red Hot Labs.

Zynga Plus Casino and Zynga Plus Poker Now Live

Popular social gaming developer Zynga has finally made its move into the online casino market. After being live for over a month, ZyngaPlusPoker.com and ZyngaPlusCasino.com are now hosting a wide range of online gambling activities for players to enjoy.

These new online gambling websites will revolutionize the market. Real-money casino operators have launched Facebook apps before, but this is the first time that a social gaming developer has ventured into the real-money gambling word. It is a new era for the gambling market.

At Zynga Plus Casino, many of the games are exclusive to the site. Some games are based on existing Zynga titles, such as the new Farmville slots games, while others feature familiar characters, such as Intensive Scare. There are also some exclusive branded slots, like Sin City and Knight Rider. With an impressive selection of online slots and table games, Zynga Plus Poker will certainly attract a wide range of players.

Zynga Plus Poker is likely capitalizing on the company’s existing Zynga Poker fan base. The play-money Facebook app has millions of users, many of which have likely made the switch to Zynga’s new real-money poker application.

Currently, the websites are only accessible by UK players. We hope that they will expand to other markets in the near future.

Zynga Inspires Mobile Gambling Market

Mobile gaming is a thriving industry. With a vast increase in the number of players taking part in mobile games from their smartphones and tablet computers, companies like Zynga have seen impressive financial growth. It has prompted them to enter into the real-money gambling world which has, in turn, inspired gambling operators to venture into mobile gambling.

Mobile devices have made it so that individuals have the desire to be entertained on a constant basis. As such, gaming has become incredibly popular, as mobile device users crave entertainment and activity while on the go.

Witnessing the substantial success of companies like Zynga in the mobile market, online casino developers are becoming more likely to offer their own mobile games. Microgaming has launched several titles already, but has been hesitant to expand. Now, seeing the success of mobile gaming is likely to inspire the operator to delve further into the mobile market.

Mobile betting has also served as a positive example for the rest of the online gambling world. Companies like TabCorp have noted that at least a quarter of their profits are coming from mobile activity, which serves as proof that mobile gambling is the next step forward for the market at large.

Developers Ready Themselves For Mobile Gaming Boom

Companies like Zynga and Electronic Arts have thrived in the online gaming market thanks to their quick uptake of the Facebook Games platform. Now, trend seems to be dying out and developers are getting ready for the next big thing in gaming: mobile.

The mobile market is currently quite popular, but it is only slowly taking over the lead currently held by social browser-based gaming. Over the course of the next few years, as Facebook and console games continue to suffer, mobile gaming will become the most popular choice for players.

According to a recent report by DFC Intelligence, mobile gaming will contribute $15 million to the overall growth of the worldwide gaming market. Although most of the games are free to download or only cost a few dollars, the vast number of players taking part makes mobile gaming a lucrative market. So, it is no wonder why so many developers are eager to get in on it.

Gambling companies are also looking forward to the mobile gaming boom. Operators like Spin Palace and PokerStars have already launched mobile gambling applications, and we can anticipate that many more companies will follow suit.

GTECH G2 and PlayTech Want Zynga Contract

Zynga has announced that it is finally making plans to enter the online gambling market. After years of running the most successful, social poker application on Facebook, the company felt that it was about time to venture into the real-money world. Zynga has opened up bidding, requesting the assistance of experienced gaming operators.

GTECH G2 and PlayTech have jumped at the chance, although we anticipate plenty of other developers will come forward. Since Zynga is renowned for operating a free-money poker app that draws in millions of players each month, each company sees the incredible value of working with the company.

While many of Zynga Poker’s players are under the age of 18, the new real money application will certainly convert adult players to playing online poker. The launch of the new website will not only boost Zynga’s business but boost activity in the online poker world, overall.

Zynga is currently considering the possibilities, as gaming developers continue to bid on the license. Whoever wins can look forward to working on the hottest new online poker site to hit the internet in years.

Can Zynga Make It on Its Own?

It’s been coming for a long time now, but Zynga has finally made the leap. The social games developer has finally launched its own stand-alone website, no longer connected to the Facebook Games platform. The gaming world has some mixed feelings about this new development but Zynga is optimistic about the venture.

Zynga Direct would be a profitable business venture for the company. After all, Zynga is worth billions of dollars already and has millions of players on Facebook – but will those players migrate to the new Zynga Direct site? We’re fairly certain that the main reason people play social games on Facebook is that they are convenient, so wouldn’t logging into a new site to play the same games defeat the purpose?

The new website is currently being tested as a Beta. There are five games available: Castleville, Cityville, Zynga Poker, Hidden Chronicles and Words with Friends. As the site continues to see increased success, Zynga will continue to launch new games on the new platform.

It will provide great experience for Zynga, in preparation for the launch of the company’s online casino. The success of Zynga Direct could be a sign that Zynga is ready for the online gambling world.

Zynga Poker Revenue in the Billions

Zynga Poker is the most popular play-money online poker application for residents of New Zealand. Millions of users across the country and around the world log into the Facebook accounts every day just to play this particular game. Some players only have Facebook accounts just so that they can play on Zynga Poker.

So, it is no wonder that Zynga Poker is a profitable online game. What you may not be aware of, however, is the fact that the application brought in over $1 billion in revenue last year – $1.14 billion to be exact.

While Zynga Poker is a free-play casino game, the app generates a great deal of money through ad revenue. Players can also purchase chips when they run low on their play money funds. Together, these two sources of revenue have made Zynga the most profitable free-play casino game ever.

So, it is little surprise that Zynga would be considering entering the online gambling market. The company has expressed interested in working with online casino brands to introduce pay-to-play games in the online gambling world. Using Zynga Poker’s profitability as a guide, we believe that this venture would be a successful one.

Could Zynga Enter The Online Gambling Market?

Zynga, one of Facebook’s most popular social games developers, is rumoured to be thinking of entering the online gambling market. With the release of its first Casino branded game, the company seems well-positioned to open a new real-money online casino. A number of sources have confirmed that Zynga is considering the possibly.

The company already has an existing fan base in the online gaming world. Millions of players log on to Facebook to compete with their friend in a game of the ever-popular Zynga Poker. Through ad revenue and selling online coins and prize, the game has made a pretty profit, but Zynga wants more.

Zynga recently listed itself on the stock exchange, with poor results, and a real-money gambling website would help the company recover from not meeting its IPO expectations. As such, an online casino would bring in a great deal of revenue for the already profitable company.

Some sources have confirmed that Zynga is now looking for a partner, with which to explore the online gambling market. While the company has not made a public announcement yet, a spokesperson stated that online gambling is a market that Zynga is very interested in.
